Rueckerhof - we were the holiday farm of the year 2004 (chosen by DLG, the German farming association)
- if you want to experience perfect family- and horseback-riding holidays, you are in the right place! Out of an exemplary estate, one of the "40 most beautyful holiday farms in whole Europe", we developed a rural holiday farm with comfortable rooms comparable to the standards of hotels. Additionally we offer great, award-winning food!

Holidays with horses, cows, pigs and small domestic animals on an historical estate.

A traditional lifestyle and a life close to nature is very important for the family. Therefore the Rueckerhof is a world of great experiences for every guest. This means we offer many activities to relax and be creative at the same time: E.g. baking bread in an old, traditional stone oven, pottery in its tradtional form, searching in our own garden with herbage, visiting the bats, going on a travel with our covered wagon or just relaxing in our old garden belonging to the estate.

Participate in our rural life! Be a farrier, a shearer for our sheep, help us patch our fences or support our animals at their birth in the cot... . You can do everything you want and become a real "holiday-farmer" - you must be a genius to accomplish to be bored here!

Our traditionally timbered-houses "Karnickelklause", "Bienenstock" or "Hufschmiede", die big flats "Fischerkate" oder "Gesindestube", "Zwiebelzopf", "Pimpernellengallerie", "Knoblauchkate"or "Senftoepchen", romantic garrets "Schwalbennest"or "Falkenhorst" create an uncomparable atmosphere, which is missing no comfort.

A fine place to spend your holidays with horses - either our horses or your own!
Beginner or expert - everyone is welcome at our holiday farm! It does not matter, whether you want to rent a horse and start your training or you bring your own horse. Our geogeous natural preserve offers perfect conditions for riding.

We have about 20 well-trained horses ready for hiking tours! There are quite a lot options what you can do: You can do training in our own riding hall or on the riding ring (outside). If you are experienced enough you can also do riding tours directly - the natural preserve "Nassau" provides many ways ideal to ride!
Quite a lot of the ways lead to well worth seeing places: E.g. dense forests along rivers and becks and beautyful villages!

These tours really can be a special, romantic experience - especially for our guests coming from big cities.

For the rider without a horse we offer:
Training with our gentle riding-horses. We help you to develope riding skills and become confident in handling a horse. Additionally we organize rides through the rural terrain and rides with the covered wagon, if you are interested! In May and September we also make hiking tours you can take part in. If you want more, you can participate in courses in the week or at the weekends. You will get a date after you contacted us!

The Rueckerhof is situated at the edge of the village "Welschneudorf" in the natural preserve "Nassau", southern "Westerwald". The romantic "Lahntal" is about 8km far away. The famous river "Rhein" ("Rhine") and the "Lahntal" build the natural borders.
